Meet the Owner

La Residencia Tinoco is the vision of Dr. Joffry B. Tinoco, a passionate professional who has dedicated his life to creating opportunities, improving lives, and building meaningful connections. Born and raised in the Philippines, Dr. Tinoco’s roots are deeply tied to his community, inspiring his commitment to both hospitality and service.

Dr. Tinoco earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Centro Escolar University in Manila and began his career as a practicing dentist in the Philippines. Following years of serving his patients with care and dedication, he established and successfully managed Kool-Upz Oral Station, where he combined his skills in dentistry and business. Alongside his dental practice, Dr. Tinoco pursued his love for cooking by managing a thriving catering business, showcasing his natural entrepreneurial spirit.

In 2007, Dr. Tinoco migrated to the United States, where he seized the opportunity to expand his career and refine his expertise. Over the years, he became a reputable treatment coordinator and eventually a Regional Manager for dental offices in Manhattan and Queens, New York. Through his experience, Dr. Tinoco honed his ability to manage teams, deliver exceptional service, and create sustainable opportunities for others.

Driven by a desire to give back to his homeland, Dr. Tinoco envisioned La Residencia Tinoco as a premier rental vacation in Albay where travelers can experience the beauty and warmth of Albay, while also serving as a vehicle for social impact. This vacation rental was designed not only to provide guests with a comfortable and productive environment but also to generate jobs and support the local community.

Dr. Tinoco brings his extensive experience in hospitality, business, and service to every aspect of La Residencia Tinoco. His vision goes beyond creating a vacation rental—it’s about building a space where people feel valued, inspired, and connected, all while giving back to the community that shaped him.
